This slightly smaller skiwas designed with a stepped keel design. The stepped bottom design hides the front of the wear bar to reduce drag and virtually eliminate darting. Couple this stepped bottom with 8 new strakes or steps, (4 per side) similiar to what is currently being used on racing boat hulls to reduce drag, and you have an unbeatable combination. Field testing exceeded all of our wildest expectations. Increased speed of 3-4 mph were gained over or PX and VX skis; a full 1.5-2.5 mph faster than any other plastic ski on the market today.
